An antique signet ring with a natural Burmese star ruby cabochon, ca. 1860s.

The uniquely longish cabochon shaped ruby weighs 3.18ct, is natural (not heated) and of Burmese origin - accompanied by a gemological certificate from DSEF. It has a fascinating crystal, which absolutely unveils the beautiful purplish-red colour of the ruby and captivates the eye in a magical moment.

The gemstone is set in a 22 carat gold ring and is adorned by intricate gold carvings emphasising the importance of the ruby.
