Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival Micromosaic Locket Pendant

A stunning Victorian pendant crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold. The beautiful and distinctive gold artwork comprises of a beaded frame surrounding several tiers of ropes, detailed in granulation work made deep inside the border and bail, which frames the central micromosaic depicting Doves amongst blossoms on a black background. The reverse locket compartment is kept in original condition.
