Antique Victorian Double Snake Gold Bangle Bracelet

This is a mid Victorian bangle that twists sideways to fit onto the wrist. Very rare and unusual double snake head bangle, intricately chased in fine gold wirework. To the reverse is an inscription for 1849. The snake heads are 3 dimensional, and lifelike depicting the teeth and eyes beautifully. This bangle is in very good condition, and of museum quality.
