Antique Victorian Butterfly Brooch with Diamonds Rubies Sapphire and Pearl

An eye-catching insect brooch in the form of a butterfly. The wings are set with rose-cut diamonds, the body a lustrous pearl and oval-cut sapphire, accented with ruby eyes. Mounted in silver upon 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1900.
