Antique Victorian Chalcedony And Pearl Brooch In 15 Carat Gold Heart Shaped Cabochon - c.1890

A sensational antique Victorian 15 carat gold Chalcedony Brooch made circa 1890. Fitted in its original antique case/box sits a most endearing and eye-catching green Chalcedony heart cabochon. The bar brooch features a wonderful central heart-shaped section with a bow ribbon on top and a cluster of seed pearls surrounding the central heart. On either side, two larger seed pears accent the edges and draw the eyes to the centre of the brooch. 

Distinctly Victorian and displaying all the signs of fine antique jewellery goldsmithing, this brooch is meticulously made.
