Antique Victorian Blue Enamel Snake Bangle, Diamond Set Head, 1860

An exceptional and rare Victorian snake bangle, the body has been set with a rich blue enamel on gold.

With gold scroll work engravings either side of the hinges.

The head is encrusted with old-cut and rose-cut diamonds, cabochon cut ruby eyes and a red garnet topped doublet.

  • Estimated total diamond weight: 5.50 carats
  • Garnet topped doublets were produced between 1850 and the early 1900s.
  • Metal: 18ct yellow gold
