Antique Victorian 7ct Old Cut Diamond Star Brooch

A late 19th century eight-point diamond star brooch; the raised centre is set with an old-cut diamond, with a surrounding cluster of eight old-cut diamonds. The points are set with old-cut, old mine-cut and rose cut diamonds, with single diamond rays on knife edge stalks between the points. Mounted in silver-upon-gold, with a removable pin fitting, with later roller catch.
