A pair of antique drop earrings set with old-cut round and pear-shaped diamonds. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold, with tulip decorations. These delicate earrings were converted from a bracelet. Indonesia, 19th century.

The watery diamonds used in Indonesian jewellery mostly came from Borneo and the stones were often cut in Bandjarmasin.
