Antique Victorian 2.6ct Peridot and Diamond Cluster Pendant Brooch

A stunning, late 19th century, 2.60ct natural peridot and old cut diamond cluster pendant-come-brooch. Circa 1870.

The heart of this striking piece is a natural antique-cut circular vivid green peridot nestled within a double surround of old mine-cut and rose-cut diamonds in an openwork floral design. Mounted in silver upon 18ct yellow gold.

With detachable fittings, can be worn as a brooch or pendant.

Peridot: 2.60 carats, measuring 9.09mm diameter
Diamonds: approx. 3.10 carat total, H/I colour and VVS/SI clarity
Metals: tests as 18ct gold and silver
Dimensions: 37mm x 28mm
Gross weight: 11.1 grams
