Antique Victorian 2.2ct Diamond Enamel and Gold Drop Earrings

A superb pair of mid 19th century diamond drop earrings; featuring cushion-shaped old mine-cut diamonds set within 18ct yellow gold borders with distinctive enamel motifs. With the original white casket leather box with the initial of the owner of that time. Circa 1860.

Diamonds: 2.23 carat total, measuring 6.9 x 5.2mm and 7.2 x 5.6mm, F colour and VVS clarity
Metals: tests as 18ct gold
Dimensions: 17 x 15 mm. (h. x w.) without wire
Gross weight: 6 grams
