Antique Victorian 2.00ct Five Stone Diamond Ring, 18ct Gold

An impressive, Victorian, carved, half hoop ring set with five Old Cut Diamonds and a further eight rose cut Diamonds. This is a hand carved mount with evidence of the original graver marks on the sides of the head.

Diamond Details:
Cut: 5x Old Cut & 8x Rose Cut (Rose cuts not graded for colour or Clarity).
Carat: Approximately 2cts in total with the centre being of approximately 1ct.
Clarity: VS1-SI1 (one Diamond has a natural on the surface bringing it into the SI range)
Colour: G-H The setting makes this difficult to assess, but this is on the side of caution.

Markings/Hallmarks: Makers mark is rubbed. London, 18ct gold, 1892.

Ring Size: UK Q, US 8.25 & European 58

Condition: Very Good. There are signs of wear and previous restorations to the settings. The Diamonds seem to be tight in their settings.

Dimensions: Setting Height: 4.5mm. Setting Length (along the finger): 6.7mm. Setting Width (across the finger): 20mm.
