Antique Victorian 18 Carat Gold Emerald Amd Diamond Navette Cluster Ring - circa 1880

A superb Victorian 18 carat gold ring with an intricate navette design made circa.1880. Distinctly Victorian and distinguished from contemporary pieces, this gorgeous piece presents one central 'emerald-cut' emerald encompassed by 14 old mine-cut diamonds (approx 0.45 carats total) that glisten wonderfully under lighting.

The central emerald has a desirable rich green hue with slight hints of brighter greens depending on the angle of lighting. This is well contrasted by the diamonds which further accentuate the glamour of this antique piece.  Further, the ring itself is meticulously crafted in 18 carat gold with fine engravings on the 'shoulders' of the ring and fine claw settings. 

The ring is unmarked but tested for 18 carat gold.
