A stunning late 19th century diamond star ‘sunburst’ brooch. The design is formed around a central old mine-cut diamond around which twelve points reradiate out from its centre, all set with further old mine-cut diamonds. Set in silver-upon-18ct gold.

• Hallmark: tests as 18ct gold and silver throughout using a touchstone

• Condition: This antique brooch pendant is in super condition; it has very limited signs of wear commensurate with age and use. All the settings are crisp with sound claws to the diamond settings. The brooch pin opens and closes securely with hook and clasp.
