Antique Rose Gold Trombone Link Albert Chain

An early 20th century, solid 9ct rose gold Albert chain with alternating curved trombone and round uniform links with a T-bar and two swivel clasps. Circa 1900-1915.

Traditionally worn as a watch chain suspending a pocket watch, Albert chains can also be worn as necklaces and used to suspend charms and pendants.

Length: 15 inches (38cm)
Metal: 9ct gold
Hallmarks: Stamped '9' '375' to each link and an indistinct makers mark
Gross weight: 51.9 grams
Condition: Very good, surface scratches and wear commensurate with age. There have been no alterations or additions to the chain the spring loaded clips remain in good working order
