Antique Flemish Rose Cut Diamond Heart Brooch, Circa 1750

An exceptional Georgian diamond brooch. This silver Flemish Heart is adorned with 53 rose-cut diamonds.

This mid 18th century piece was born as a pendant and has later been transformed into a brooch. Circa 1750.

  • Metal: Tests as silver
  • Hallmarks: Dutch hallmark representing the letter letter "v" (1814-1831) for foreign made articles given to be checked by the assay office (used from 1814 till 1831)
  • Dimensions: 4.87cm x 3.34cm
  • Gross weight: 12 grams
  • Condition: Very good, wear commensurate with age and use
