Antique Regency Natural Ruby and Diamond Cluster Memorial Ring

A 19^th century Memorial ruby and diamond cluster ring. The horizontal cluster is composed of a central oval-cut natural ruby surrounded by ten old mine-cut diamonds. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold in closed back settings decorated with fine scrolls and embossed work. Engraved to the reverse ‘John Danl Lynn died 4^th May 1848 aged 37’
