Antique Regency Amethyst and Citrine Butterfly Brooch

An early 19th century, Regency gem-set brooch in the form of a butterfly. The body and and wings are set with amethyst and citrine and the head of the butterfly is set with a rose-cut garnet. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold accented with beaded gold borders. Circa 1810's.
