Antique Rare Carved Pink Coral Gold Plaque Bracelet

This truly amazing antique rare carved pink coral gold plaque bracelet dates pre c.1700 – a late Baroque period, Italian origin, spectacular workmanship of the past.

It tests as 14ct gold and is comprised of three main plaques, the largest set in the middle with two flanking aside connected by gold chains with coral beads inter-spacing.

The centre Plaque is pretty large 35 x 28 mm – set with a centrepiece of stunning coral panel artful hand-carved with the typical Arabesque in use at the time, the most beautiful pink coral and exquisite carving is completely gold close back framing the whole panel with four coral beads and ancient engravings on the gold sides

Two sides panels are the same structure, measuring 20 x 4 mm., closure clap has coral inserts as well, coral beads are 6-7 mm. in diameter

Measurements: links are 50 x 41 mm. and 35 x 28 mm. - clasp is 22 x 8 mm. (h. x w.) - length is 20.4 cm.

The bracelet is in good wearable condition, wear as you can expect on such an early piece of jewellery
