A striking antique opal and diamond cluster ring, The mesmerising oval cabochon opal with vivid blue, green, yellow and orange flashes is surrounded by sixteen old-cut diamonds. Mounted in yellow gold accented with two diamonds to each shoulder. Circa 1880.
