Antique Multi Gemstone Set Gold Bow Brooch, Circa 1860

A late 19th century, French, 18ct yellow gold bow brooch, with an openwork design of baroque leaves, set with a foil backed sapphire in the centre and almandine garnet, pale green beryl, pale yellow beryl, hessonite garnet, pyrope garnet, chrysoprase, aquamarine, turquoise and pink sapphire. Circa 1860

With a modern French owl import mark for 18ct gold.
