A lovely amethyst ring, set with an old cut diamond at the North, East, South and West of the gorgeous purple amethyst in the centre. The amethyst is of great quality for its age with a few surface scratches, great condition for the age. It has be modelled in 18ct yellow gold in the late Victorian era with 18ct white gold tipped setting for the diamonds to compliment the stone. The band sits on a decorative shoulder with a middle width band, such a beautiful quality antique ring.
