Rare Georgian Antique hand grip long guard “bootlace” gold chain necklace, high carat gold box link chain with 22+carat gold scallop shell decorated slider and hand.

The hand (a symbol of everlasting love) grip “holds” a stirrup or door knocker which has a loop that opens through twisting then separating like a “wishbone” for attaching a key, perhaps a muff or a loupe, magnifier, watch, seal forget-me-not or pencil?
