Antique Georgian Garnet and Diamond Collier de Chein Necklace

A collier de chien collar necklace consisting of twelve large oval rose cut garnets set in gold, alternated with floral silver elements in which are two old cut diamonds vertically set. Decorated with a tulip decoration at the back.

In original shagreen case.

Dutch, Circa 1820.

To be worn with a velvet ribbon or with a later ailver and rose cut diamond lock.
