Antique Georgian Emerald and Diamond Gold Drop Earrings
These earrings are a fine and dainty example from the Georgian era, they are lovely to ear, being light. They have square cut emeralds, on 18ct yellow gold with some scroll detailing. Many early earrings were made so that the piercing went from the back to the front, and these are an example of this. The wire goes through the ear from back to front , and clicks into the hook at the front. They could be carefully converted to a shepherd's crook front to back fitting.
