Antique Georgian Almandine Garnet Parure 18ct Gold circa 1820 in Original Fitted Box

A superb Georgian flat cut almandine garnet full parure, complete with original display box. It comprises a full Riviere necklace with a separate loose pendant that can also clip onto the necklace (the brooch fitting has been removed at a later date). A matching Riviere bracelet with drop earrings completes this suite. The stones are bright with excellent colour and rest in the closed-back settings typical of the period circa 1820s.

HALLMARK - No marks present, tests as 18ct gold and 9ct gold (bracelet)
MEASUREMENTS Necklace: 38cm / 15" Bracelet: 18cm / 7" Pendant: 5.5 x 2.6cm Earrings: 4.1cm drop
CONDITION - Very good, commensurate with age. All gems are securely set and original to the piece. Very rare to find a full suite in its original hand-tooled, leather fitted box. The earrings have later hook fittings.
