Antique Georgian 2ct Sugarloaf Cabochon Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring

A stunning, late 18th century, sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The central 2ct cabochon sugarloaf natural sapphire is surrounded by a double border of Flemish old-cut diamonds. Mounted in silver to 18ct yellow gold. Circa 1790.

Sapphire: approx. 2.00 carats, measuring 7.24 x 5.54mm
Diamonds (24): approx. 2.40 carat total, H-K colour with VS/SI clarity
