Antique French Greek Revival Pearl Set Gold Bangle Bracelet

A French, antique, Greek Revival, pearl, gold and platinum bangle. Composed of a repeat pattern of bouton pearls, individually set between motifs of opposing gold acanthus leaves, divided by platinum scrolls, bordered by knife edges, with dot and lozenge infilled decoration. Secured with three hinges, a box and tongue clasp, with a safety chain. The tongue is marked with two boar heads and a GG maker's mark. Circa 1870.
