Antique Emerald Gimmel Fede Trilogy Ring

A French 18ct yellow gold gimmel ring (or fede ring); comprising of three hinged parts, each set with a collet set step cut green emerald. The three emeralds come together to form a trinity set when the ring is closed.

Stamped with the eagles mark for 18ct gold and French manufacture along with the rooster head for French manufacture of gold between 1809-1819.
