Antique Edwardian Sweetheart Pink and Green Tourmaline Ring

A pink and green toumaline ring. This is a slightly different ring, two hearts fused together- signalling undying love or enduring love. The colours are also quite different, green and pink, surrounded by diamonds. The back of the ring is enclosed by gold and therefore the light in the stones is reflected by foiling the back of the tourmalines. This was a method much used in England in the 19th Century.
