Antique Edwardian Pink Tourmaline and Split Pearl Necklace in 15ct gold

Most Edwardian Necklaces are set with Peridot, this one is very different. It's quite unusual to see a Pink stone in the centre and when they are, often they are a replacement stone, but this one has no evidence of the setting being tampered with, so it looks original. The Tourmaline is nice and bright and set within an articulated centre section. For the most part, the split pearls are nice and bright with one a little darker. There has been a repair to the back of one section (see pictures) but this has been done well and provides extra strength to this section.

Details;

Front section dimensions: Approximately 60 mm wide by 30 mm high.

Stone Details: One central Pink Tourmaline calculated at 1.63cts and 60 split pearls of varying sizes.

Markings/hallmarks: The back of the main section is stamped 15ct and the metal has been tested to confirm this.

Chain Details: The centre section is attached to a rope style chain with simple barrel snap. Overall the necklace measures 40cm in length.

There is a repair to the back of one side which is firm and good. It's a lovely and unusual piece.
