Antique Edwardian Opal and Diamond Silver on Gold Drop Earrings

These antique Edwardian opal and diamond drop earrings are pure grace and femininity. Fine handcrafting of the period in solid 18ct gold topped by silver. The top line is of graceful sinuous lines with diamond-set and hand-wrought details leading to the two tear cut natural solid opals of mesmerizing colours.

Diamonds are 8 old mine and 4 rose-cut diamonds totalling approx .80 Ct (H/I-VS/SI) resulting in firey power against the 18ct silver topped with naturally occurred oxidation.

Opals are set entirely into 18ct gold and measure 12 mm. x 8 mm. - they exhibit a fantastic rich colour palette.

Made for pierced ears with 18ct gold shepherd's hook.
