Antique Edwardian 3.30ct Blue Water Opal Solitaire Ring

A stunning early 20th century water opal single stone ring. This mesmerising Edwardian ring showcases a pretty water opal featuring eccentric blue, green and purple play-of-colour. Mounted in 18ct yellow gold with stylish split shoulder. Circa 1905.

Water Opal: approx. 3.30 carat
Hallmark: Stamped ‘18’ and makers mark S & Co, tested throughout as 18ct gold using a touchstone
Ring size: O (UK) / 7 (US) / 54 (EU), can be resized
Gross weight: 4.4 grams
Condition: Very good commensurate with age and use. The opal is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and original to the ring. The gold work shows no sign of excessive wear.
