Antique Early Victorian Diamond Ring, 18ct Gold and Silver

A fine antique early Victorian diamond ring mounted in silver and 18ct yellow gold. The eleven foil backed rose cut diamonds are mounted in silver, on an 18ct yellow gold band. Circa 1840, this delightful ring is certainly well-travelled and was imported into Belgium sometime between its creation and 1868 as it bears the control mark 'E' for imported jewellery.
