Antique Art Nouveau Maurice Beck Ruby and Diamond Snake Ring

A French, antique Art Nouveau Maurice Beck ruby and diamond double snake ring, one head is set with a pink toned ruby the other is set with an old-cut diamond, both heads are engraved to represent scales, mounted in gold, with a French eagle head mark, for 18ct gold and a maker's mark, with M.B. and a four leaf clover, for Maurice Beck, 1898 to1926. Beck was a successful jewellery manufacturer, in Paris. During the 1920s he made jewellery for René Boivin.

Some wear consistent with age and use.
