Antique 4ct Old Mine Cut Diamond Crescent Moon Brooch

A late 19th century, Victorian crescent brooch, set with two rows of graduating old mine-cut diamonds. Mounted in silver-upon-gold, with a plain inner curve and cut down set outer curve, with gold gallery work below. Secured with a removable pin and later roller catch fitting. Circa 1880.

The inner curve is numbered 2208, with scratched invoice number -/S2170
