Antique 19th Century Italian Micromosaic and Gold Drop Earrings

A pair of 19th century micromosaic earrings in an eye-catching Etruscan Revival style.

The tops have round micromosaics depicting pink and red roses surrounded by blue and purple smaller flowers with leaves, on a white background, leading to eight point stars with bird and leaf garland micromosaics, suspending micromosaic drops. With surrounding wire twist and plain gold borders and gold links. Hallmarked with a bird head mark on the back of each star, on wire fittings. Italian, Circa 1870.
