Early Victorian 19th Century Harlequin Gem Set Maltese Cross Pendant Brooch

A fine 19th Century Georgian brooch in the shape of a Maltese cross, set with diamonds and colourful natural gemstones including peridot, sapphire, citrine, demantoid and almandine garnet, and spinel. In an open work setting.

Mounted in silver with gold backing.

A double usage, also a pendant with a foldable hoop and removable brooch fitting.
