Step back into the Belle Époque era with this breathtaking original Edwardian bow drop necklace. Exemplifying the romance, grace, and unmatched artisanal craft of the early 20th century, this piece marries the icy brilliance of platinum-set diamonds with the warm glow of solid 18ct yellow gold—making it an unforgettable bridal statement or a cherished heirloom addition to any antique jewelry collection. 

The bow and garland motif, true to classic Edwardian design showcases a flowing tied-ribbon bow above an openwork garland silhouette. The bow loops, tails, and bale are set with sparkling natural diamonds edged in delicate milgrain detailing.  The pearl drop is suspended from an articulated diamond collet swaying with every step, displaying a silky, iridescent luster that catches natural light beautifully. 

The front is faced in cool, white platinum to enhance the white fire of the diamonds, while the under-gallery is crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold—a hallmark technique of the late Victorian and Edwardian masters to prevent platinum from marking fine silk garments.  The pendant hangs gracefully from an original, period-correct platinum elongated trace link chain, fastening securely with a classic bolt-ring clasp accented with a dainty gold pull-tab. 

The pendant measures approximately 35mm in length and 15mm in width. The chain measures approximately 20 inches in length and 1mm in width.
