Antique GIA Certified 2.94cts Colombian Emerald and Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings

A pair of late 19th century emerald and diamond cluster earrings. Emerald-cut Columbian emeralds in fine claw settings are surrounded by old mine-cut diamonds, in silver crown claw settings, upon 18ct gold mounts. Secured with hinged, front opening wire fittings. Circa 1890.

Accompanied by GIA certificate 2235180193, stating that the emeralds are Columbian, with minor clarity enhancement and measure 7.70 x 5.90 x 4.95mm and 7.62 x 6.15 x 4.42mm. Using these measurements the estimated emerald weights are 1.53 carats and 1.41 carats respectively.
