A striking 18 carat yellow and white gold heraldic brooch, finely crafted with a raised family crest design bearing the Latin inscription "Londinii Defende Tuos Deus Optime Cives" (O God, defend your citizens of London). The shield is pavé-set with diamonds and accented with a cross of rubies. At the centre sits a Tudor rose motif in white gold, flanked by gold coronets above and below, surmounted by a sculpted knights helm and crowned with a finely detailed eagle in white gold.
