Vintage French Emerald and Diamond Bombe Cocktail Ring, 7.99 carats, 18ct Yellow Gold, Circa 1965

A striking vintage bombe deign ring set with a lozenge shaped emerald, weighing approximately 7.99ct, with three transition-cut diamonds on each side.

Mounted in platinum four claw settings, with a textured rope gold twist surround. Marked with a French eagle head mark for 18ct gold and a dog head mark for platinum.

The emerald measures approximately 14 mm x 13mm x 6.46mm, in our opinion the origin is Zambian, with moderate clarity enhancement.
