Vintage Carved Bird Coral and Diamond Large Pendant Brooch

This vintage carved bird coral and diamond large pendant brooch is of remarkable beauty. Handcrafted post-1900 of 14ct yellow gold and of Italian origin, the body is set with a large oval piece of natural coral carved in detail to depict a bird on a tree branch. Mounting is of scroll design and richly set with diamonds; approx. 90ct for the 38 round brilliant cuts, rated as G/I VVS/I.

The whole mounting is solid 14ct gold, hand made and finely detailed, and can be worn as a brooch or pendant. An eye-catching Italian Coral Art Piece from the vintage jewellery period.
