Vintage Art Deco Style Diamond Panel Ring in Platinum

The Art Deco style is one of the most iconic with its clean, geometric lines and often intricate detailing. This reproduction piece was made to emulate this period almost perfectly. The main difference is the style of cutting for the diamonds which on more modern versions gives a brighter appearance than the originals.

This type of piece has been made from the 1960s to as late as the 1990s, but this piece dates to the 1960s.

This piece is in great condition and is made to a higher standard than many modern replica’s. It has barely been worn.

Ring size: UK/AU Size M / US Size 6

Ring material/hallmark: Platinum 950. Stamped “PLAT” and tested to confirm.

Total Diamond Weight:  Approximately 0.70cts total (estimated on the lean side)

The centre, Brilliant cut Diamond is approximately 0.40cts (4.65 mm in Diameter) and is surrounded by 12 smaller brilliant cuts. The shoulders have a further 3 Brilliant cut Diamonds in each making a total of 19 Diamonds.

Diamond Quality: The centre diamond is of a slightly lower colour than the others of around I-J. the outer diamonds are a little higher. The centre diamond appears to be in the VS range for clarity. The outer are variable from VS – SI with a couple dipping a little lower.

The setting measures approximately 11.5 mm along the finger and x 10mm wide, stepping down to 5.7 mm and 2.4 mm wide on the shoulders. The setting is approximately 4.5 mm high off the finger. The shank/band is approximately 2.25 mm wide at the shoulder tapering to 1.4 mm wide at the back.
