Vintage 1950s French Diamond and Platinum Riviere Necklace, 37.84 carats

A vintage, French, diamond riviére necklace. Set with graduating drops of round brilliant-cut diamonds, in four claw settings, with diamonds above, onto an articulating chain of alternating pairs of round brilliant-cut diamonds, with baguette-cut diamonds. Mounted in platinum, secured with a box clasp with figure-of-eight safety clasps. Circa 1950’s.

The tongue has a French dog mark for platinum, with an eagle for the white gold clasp, and an ES maker’s mark.
