Oscar Heyman has evolved from a behind the scenes manufacturer to a stand-alone brand, known and appreciated by jewellery connoisseurs around the world. The evidence that Oscar Heyman creates heirloom-quality jewellery, both in style and in function, is in the company’s storied history.
The firm produced invisibly set jewellery made in New York for Van Cleef & Arpels from 1939 – 2001. Oscar Heyman produced jewellery for Tiffany & Co. Oscar Heyman also had a relationship with Cartier, dating to around 1910 when Oscar was hired by Pierre C. Cartier at his newly established New York workshop. Working for Cartier in 1969, Oscar Heyman & Brothers designed and crafted the pear shape diamond necklace for the Taylor- Burton Diamond
At the World’s Fair in 1939, Oscar Heyman made jewellery for 4 of the 5 retailers exhibiting in the House of Jewels, thus earning the company the trade name ‘The Jewelers’ Jeweler.’
