A pair of exceptional mid-20th century clip earrings by German jeweller René Kern, crafted in platinum. Each earring is designed as an elegant openwork floral cluster, pavé-set with diamonds interspersed with vibrant pinkish-red natural rubies. The rubies are of mixed cuts and lightly to moderately included, adding rich colour contrast and vintage character. No indications of treatment. The refined craftsmanship and bold silhouette are hallmarks of René Kern’s atelier work from the 1950’s–1960’s period.
