Late Victorian Antique Ruby and Diamond Crescent Brooch, Circa 1900

An antique ruby and diamond crescent moon brooch, with an outer row of graduating oval and cushion faceted rubies set in gold, with an inner row of old-cut diamonds in a silver-upon-gold grain set channel. Mounted in 14ct gold and silver with a gold pierced under-gallery below. Secured with a pin and later catch fitting. Circa 1900.
