Edwardian Old Cut Diamond Foliate Scroll Tiara

A truly elegant Edwardian old-cut diamond tiara set in silver and gold, circa 1910.

This beautifully handcrafted tiara is composed of several elegant foliate scroll motifs, commonly seen within the Victorian and Edwardian jewellery eras. The tiara is centred with a fleur-de-lis-inspired spray, topped with the three large old mine cut diamonds.

The foliate scrolls are set in silver and gold and are from the Edwardian era, circa 1910, the floral engraved frame is made of silver and is a later 1940s addition (this aspect of the tiara is hallmarked).

This exquisite tiara is set with a total of 264 diamonds, meticulously crafted so the diamonds shimmer and sparkle from every angle, and is a classic piece of antique craftsmanship.
