Antique Victorian Grouse Scene Crystal and Gold Stick Pin

A beautiful Victorian Essex crystal grouse scene stick pin set in 18 carat yellow gold. The crystal is encased in gold and secured with a pin stopper. Essex crystal is made by using a cabochon cut rock crystal and engraving the flat bottom with a scene or design. The engraved aspect is then hand painted to give the impression of a three dimensional object or image.
