Late Victorian antique brooch of central crowned intertwined hearts. Set with two old cut and two rose cut diamonds and seed pearls, the circular red guilloche enamel panel with white champleve enamelled border surrounded by peg set 2mm pearls and diamonds of approx 2mm diameter.

A glazed circular compartment for a hair plait or memento to the reverse, with pin and catch fitting, and a safety chain.

• The brooch overall is approximately 2.7cm diameter & 12.9g gros.
• The brooch bears no hallmarks but tests as 15 ct gold.
